The Cornwall Hospital Foundation recently featured the Raisin River Marine 2013 Party Barge 18DLX boat raffle on their website. Here is a snippet:
Owners of Raisin River Marine Ltd. have found a unique way of supporting the To Your Health! Campaign to purchase the MRI scanner and digital urology table for Cornwall Community Hospital. On Saturday, June 1, 2013, they will raffle a 2013 Suntracker 18 DLX Pontoon Boat, equipped with a Mercury 4 stroke outboard motor and a trailer.
“Over the winter, we are going to sell 500 tickets at $100 each to raise much-needed funds for the MRI,” says Sue MacGregor, Owner and Sales Manager of Raisin River Marine Ltd, who spearheaded the project. “We all have had to visit the hospital at one time or another but a few of us have had to travel great distances for a simple but life-saving MRI scan. We want to contribute to the effort to bring an MRI to Cornwall.”
